Notes about proper sizing
The first step to determining your proper size is determining your height in centimeters. If you were 5'8" or 68 inches, that coverts to 172 cemtimeters. Therefore you would most likely fit best in a size 175. This will allow some minor shrinkage over time.
All Adidas Judogis are measured in centimeters, we provide the US/Japan size conversion to help but are not exact matches to other manufacturers.
Each Adidas uniform is cut differently and fits differently. Your size will vary by model.
The IJF is the largest cut with the longest sleeves and jacket due to the IJF Rules.
The J690 is similar to the IJF but has shorter sleeves and a shorter jacket, giving it a more traditional fit.
The J350 is a basic starter gi with a looser jacket, shorter sleeves, and a lightweight design.
